Education:
Studied at the Lausanne Jazz School followed by the Montreux Music Conservatory with Thierry Lang as the piano teacher.

Professional activities
• Founder, composer and musician of the group 'No Square'. This jazz trio has collaborated with many different musicians, notably Jean-François Bovard, Daniel Bourquin, Serges Zaug, François Lindemann, Daniel Küffer, Stefano Saccon et Vinz Vonlanthen. 'No Square' has performed in numerous countries (Switzerland, Germany, Cuba, Argentina, Uruguay, France, Poland, Thaïland) and festivals (Havana Jazz Plaza Festival 98, Payerne Jazz Festival 99, Cully Jazz Festival 01, Zürich Jazz Festival 01, Mlode Kino Europejski Torun (Poland) April 03 Schaffhausen Jazz festival de mai 03, , Jazz Festival Hutwill, Rhino Jazz Festival Rives de Gier (France), Jazz Festival Nancy Jazz Pulsations (France) over the last years. No Square has also created a theater and music piece called the «Roestigraben Box» (2003) (www.roestigraben-box.ch), has collaborated on a project with Beat Sterchi and Adi Blum «Bitzius» to produce a cd and create a show in commemoration of 150 years of the death of the writer Jeremias Gotthelf, and has composed and plays the music in the play «La Voix Humaine» of Jean Cocteau.
• bassist for the group 'Corazón de Aldea'. This quintet has toured in Argentina and Switzerland and produced 2 CDs
• Bass teacher in the Music School; Psalmodia in Yverdon and Oron (Switzerland)

Past Activities
Bassist for 5 years (1987-1992) for the band 'Out Of Order' then in various bands such as:'Ybiss' (1993-1995), 'Zu Jazz' (1995-1996) et le 'Big Band de Montreux' (1994-1996).
